A little bit about me

Hello! I’m Jess! I am Sydney born but have been lucky enough to have called the Gold Coast my home since I was 10 years old.

I have always had a deep love for photography - even when I was little, you would catch me outside snapping weeds and fences, having stolen mum’s Canon. As I grew, photography remained a hobby and was behind the camera every spare second I got.

As the years continued, I perused other endeavours, but more and more people suggested I should do photography professionally. Like most stubborn and anxious creatives, I did absolutely nothing about this advice until a few years ago when a friend of mine decided to open her own fashion label. I was shocked to learn that to hire a photographer to provide 20 images of a model in her clothes for her website was going to cost her close to a thousand dollars! So, with her blessing - I decided I would do her images. And so, I had my first shoot with 3 friends modelling her clothes, down at Greenmount Beach - and boy did I have a blast.

From that moment on I decided I was going to become a professional photographer who was affordable, without compromising on quality and today, I offer multiple budget friendly packages. Lifestyle photography has always been my passion and candid, real world movement photographs are my speciality, no matter what the project is. I take a very relaxed approach to capturing people and enjoy all the little moments. Author Elizabeth Gilbert says that “creativity is a force of enchantment”, and I couldn’t agree more!
